To support the implementation of the Framework for Circular Economy for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), 𝑰𝒏𝒔𝒕𝒊𝒕𝒖𝒕𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑪𝒊𝒓𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑬𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒐𝒎𝒚 𝑫𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒐𝒑𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 (𝑰𝑪𝑬𝑫) and 𝑨𝑺𝑬𝑨𝑵 – 𝑱𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒏 𝑪𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒓𝒆 (𝑨𝑱𝑪) are organizing a 4-day training program for micro small medium enterprises (MSMEs) in ASEAN countries.

The objectives of the program are:
Improving the understanding of CE among MSMEs, showcasing good practices from Japanese and ASEAN firms
Developing the capacity to apply CE practices from MSMEs, thereby developing sustainable products/ services and taking advantage of International Trade Agreements
Promoting collaboration and investment between AMS and Japan
The detailed agenda is:
Day 1. Four (4) Lectures: Overview of Circular Economy, Sustainable Business, Challenges and Opportunities faced by MSMEs in the Circular Transition (with a discussion of the policy environment regarding CE in ASEAN)
Day 2. (Agriculture, cities) Three (3) Lectures, a business toolkit analysis, and discussion sessions.
Day 3. (Tourism) Three (3) Lectures, a business toolkit analysis, and discussion sessions.
Day 4. (Textile and Fashion) Three (3) Lectures, a business toolkit analyzing session, and a discussion session
