On 14th Jan. 2022, ICED and Dr. Patrick Schroeder, Dr. Jack Barrie (Chatham House) held a meeting to discuss potential collaboration in the field of the circular economy (CE). From the ICED side, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hong Quan has participated in the meeting. Dr. Quan presented to Dr. Patrick Schroeder, Dr. Jack Barrie about ICED’s mission, vision and activities. Dr. Patrick Schroeder, Dr. Jack Barrie shared about the Chatham House’s works on circular economy. Dr. Quan showed his special interests about the works on e.g. inclusive development and just transition in CE; EU Green Deal, Sustainable Products Initiative (SPI), CE and global trade. The discussion was a great opportunity for both ICED and Chatham House to learn about each side’s expertise and to explore potential areas for future collaboration between the two organizations.
