ENOn September 01st, 2021, a meeting between the Institute for Circular Economy Development (ICED), Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City, and Except Integrated Sustainability was held online to explore collaboration in the circular economy and the built environment.
For this meeting, ICED was represented by Associate Professor Nguyen Hong Quan – Director, Dr. Le Quang Dung, Dr. Nguyen Minh Tu, and MSc. Tran Thi Diem Phuc while Except Integrated Sustainability was represented by Mr. Tom Bosschaert – Director, Ms. Khanh Nguyen, and Ms. Chi Nguyen.
In the meeting, Mr. Tom Bosschaert presents briefly about the company and the plans to develop the sustainability market in Vietnam. Moreover, Mr. Tom is going to have a business trip to Vietnam this November and December 2021. He shows interest in visiting ICED and participating in activities (e.g. workshops,..) organized by ICED. Professor Nguyen Hong Quan presented the strategic contents such as the general vision, the characteristics, and expertise of the institute as well as the affiliated departments. ICED is therefore prepared to cooperate with Except Integrated Sustainability as a strategic partner. Also, Except will be happy to form a team with different organizations, ICED specifically, to learn and offer training, workshops, design projects in different scales, etc. ICED also offers to invite Except to join some of the projects ICED is working on and connect Except with the local network.
During the 60-minute discussion, the two organizations complete the target set for the meeting, which means to present and brainstorm for cooperation shortly.
