Background

Responsible production and consumption is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (SDG 12). The circular economy is based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use as long as possible, and regenerating natural systems. In this workshop, experts from various fields will present their research work and perspectives in realizing the SDGs 12 target via the lens of the circular economy’s perspectives.

Objective

This workshop aims to initiate an international platform of discussion and exchange research work and ideas regarding the sustainable production and consumption and the circular economy concept.
